His Life Today:

Dominic Studzinski is Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach for football at the University of Mississippi (Ole Miss). After graduation (and winning three National Championships in football), he went to the University of Tulsa as a Graduate Assistant (GA) Strength and Conditioning Coach, working with a variety of sports. Soon after, he headed to the University of Southern Mississippi (USM) where he held a similar role, and he worked with various sports, including the football team, which won the Conference USA championship. Additionally, he earned a master's degree from USM in Sports Coaching Administration. His next stop was Ole Miss, where he has been since 2012.

Encouraged To Do More

Studzinski says football coach Jon Anderson and professor Kelly Quick inspired him. "They saw something more in me, and they never seemed to give up on the idea that I could do more."

Sense of Pride

Studzinski says, as someone who put much time and effort into the USF football program, he is very proud to see what's been happening with the team. "I know the fellow Cougars I played with are quite proud. We hope the current players continue to uphold tradition and remember to 'always play for those who came before you.'"

Networks That Stay Strong

"The Strength and Conditioning network that has come from USF is tightknit," says Studzinski. "Those who have come from USF stay quite close with each other if they are in the field."
