Bridges Program

 

Bridges is an English Language Outreach Program for adults in the Sioux Falls community. It is hosted by the University of Sioux Falls and funded in collaboration with Forward Sioux Falls*. Our English courses integrate reading, writing, listening and speaking for those who wish to increase their overall English proficiency through regular practice.

Bridges offers instruction at three levels:

Beginning English | Level One
Fall Semester

Mondays & Wednesdays | 9:30 a.m.–12 p.m with teacher Elena Luke - Jorden Hall 317
Tuesdays & Thursdays | 6 p.m.-8:30 p.m. with teacher Michelle Pepper - Jorden Hall 317

Intermediate English | Level Three
Fall Semester

Mondays & Wednesdays | 6 p.m.–8:30 p.m with teacher Elena Luke - Jorden Hall 317
Tuesdays and Thursdays | 9:30 a.m.–12 p.m. with teacher Elena Luke - Jorden Hall 317

Advanced English | Level Five
Fall Semester

Mondays & Thursdays | 6 p.m.–8:30 p.m. with teacher Diane Van Den Oever, Jorden Hall 310

 

Fall classes will begin on August 21 and end on December 19, 2024. The cost for the entire semester is $100.

Bridges courses are not for college credit, so F-1 International Students are not eligible to enroll.

*Forward Sioux Falls is a collaboration between the Greater Sioux Falls Area Chamber of Commerce and the Sioux Falls Development Foundation.
