Madrigal Dinners at USF

Attend the Madrigal Dinners!

December 5, 6 & 7th

Ticket sales begin November 1

The University of Sioux Falls Madrigal Dinners are an annual series of Renaissance-themed Christmas dinner theatre performances presented by the Singing Camerata (known during the holiday season as The Madrigal Singers). Established in 1963 by Lois Harchanko, Music Professor Emeritus, the Madrigal Dinners represent one of USF's longest-standing and strongest traditions. The performances combine vocal and instrumental music, dancing, drama, elegant Renaissance garb and fine dining.

The performance begins with a reception in the Ward Lobby of the McDonald Center at 6:30 p.m. Guests are escorted to the Salsbury Dining Hall for dinner beginning at 7 p.m. with entertainment before, during and after the meal. Guests are treated to a delicious four-course meal and entertainment in the form of jokes, dramatic sketches, songs, solos and instrumental music. The Madrigal Singers, a variety of student musicians, dancers and a court jester comprise the cast.

Special group rates are available, allowing guests to purchase a table of eight (8) seats for the price of seven (7). Treat your family and friends or organize your office holiday party with us.
