1,200 high schoolers to attend Career Days this week

For the first time, the Sioux Falls School District will host its annual Career Days at a traditional 4-year institution. University of Sioux Falls will host the event April 9-11 on its campus.
Each student will go on a campus tour then hear from a panel of college professionals and current students on preparing for and succeeding in college. Topics include:
- What admission reps look for
- Soft skills that are good to have/work on when entering university work
- Adjustments in general to college versus high school
- Resident life
- Figuring out your passions and thinking about a course of study
- Campus life
- More
Representatives from South Dakota State University, University of South Dakota, University Center, Augustana University and USF will be among the panel of presenters.
Sophomores from Lincoln High School, Roosevelt High School, Washington High School and New Tech High School in Sioux Falls will participate.
