Weather Announcement 4/12/19
The University of Sioux Falls (main campus and USF Athletic Complex) is closed today, Friday, April 12, 2019, due to the weather and travel concerns. This includes a cancellation of all undergraduate and graduate classes and closure of the USF Athletic Complex and the Mears Library.
Additionally, tonight’s performance of the musical has been cancelled; anyone with tickets can exchange them for another performance to take place on Saturday and Sunday - bring your pre-purchased tickets with you to either performance.
Essential services (food service, campus safety, campus maintenance) will remain open. All in-season student-athletes should connect with their coach or Athletic Director for specific information. We encourage you to watch the City of Sioux Falls parking regulations and refrain from parking on the streets.
Students, please watch for subsequent communication from Corey Ross, VP for Student Development/Dean of Students, with additional instructions around student services, including food service.
As always, the USF Campus Safety and Security Department is open and available to assist you 24/7 at 605-321-6400. The USF grounds staff is on campus working to keep the campus safe for you; however, with the ice and snow we are experiencing, we encourage you to refrain from on walking campus, but if you must please be very careful.
The University encourages you to take precautions to be safe during this winter weather. The University also encourages you to watch the USF Weather Alert Text and website at www.usiouxfalls.edu for further information.
