Newly Awarded Grant Makes Library Materials More Accessible
October 26, 2020
The University of Sioux Falls Norman B. Mears Library was recently awarded $7,929.20 through a South Dakota Humanities Council CARES grant.
“The grant has allowed us to boost our virtual library presence so that students can access library materials as easily off campus as they can on campus in the library,” said Annie Sternburg, USF’s director of library services.
The grant was created to provide financial support for libraries and other organizations during the COVID-19 pandemic. USF utilized the funds to implement OCLC WorldCat Discovery system, a program that allows library materials to be searched using one interface instead of searching for each type of resource individually.
