Sioux Falls, S.D. – The University of Sioux Falls will award 373 degrees on Sunday, May 22 at the Washington Pavilion of Arts and Science.

The job outlook for USF graduates is promising. Of May 2015 undergraduates, 99 percent secured employment in their major or chosen field within six months of graduation, and of the degree programs that produced graduates during the 2014-2015 academic year, almost three-fourths experienced a 100 percent placement rate. Additionally, 100 percent of graduates report that USF helped them achieve their career goals.

Richard Garside, a 1981 alumnus, will deliver the commencement addresses to business and education graduate students at the 10 a.m. ceremony and to undergraduate students at the 2 p.m. ceremony.

Garside served as the Global Head of Operations and Technology for The Consumer Group of Citigroup from 2008–2013. He was responsible for supporting Citi Cards, The Commercial Group, The Consumer Lending Group (Mortgage) and The Retail Distribution Banking Group in 40 countries.

USF will also carry on its tradition of presenting graduates with towels reminiscent of the Biblical story in John 13 where Jesus washed Peter’s feet. The towels serve as reminders to graduates that along with a diploma from a distinctively Christian University comes a commission to serve, and Dean of the Chapel Dennis Thum will challenge graduates to live lives of servanthood.
