All of Us Mobile Enrollment Center to be hosted at USF on October 11 and 18
TIME/DATE: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Friday, October 11 and Friday, October 18, 2024
WHO/WHAT: University of Sioux Falls will be hosting the All of Us Mobile Enrollment Center on campus and invites any and all adult members of the community to participate to improve health care through research.
The All of Us Mobile Enrollment Center is a hands-on experience to build awareness and excitement about the All of Us Research Program. This traveling exhibit actively engages community members to learn about and join this research project that may accelerate research and improve health.
The All of Us Research Program, supported by the National Institutes of Health, is a large research program to help researchers better understand why people get sick or stay healthy. Unlike research studies that focus on one disease or group of people, All of Us is building a diverse database that can inform thousands of studies on a variety of health conditions. This creates more opportunities to:
• Know the risk factors for certain diseases
• Figure out which treatments work best for people of different backgrounds
• Connect people with the right clinical studies for their needs
• Learn how technologies can help us take steps to be healthier
Interested participants can visit the USF campus during the specified times to get involved. More information about the All of Us Research Program can be found at https://allofus.nih.gov/. There is no cost to participate.
